Pachuca includes 2 series of photos that I shoot in Pachuca while walking to a children playground. Pachuca (officially Pachuca de Soto, also known as La Bella Airosa, (in English the beautiful windy city) is the capital of the Mexican State of Hidalgo. It is located in the south-central part of the state, 58 miles from Mexico City, to which it is connected by a modern freeway. Various indigenous groups, most notably the Aztecs, ruled the area around Pachuca until the invasion of the Spanish Conquistadors in 1528.
